What platform do you use for online sessions? +
We use Zoom or Google Meet — whichever you prefer. Your trainer will send you a meeting link before the session. No special software is needed beyond what most people already have.
Do I need a physical chess board for online sessions? +
No. Your trainer will use an interactive digital board (Lichess or Chess.com) shared on screen during the video call. You can follow along and make moves on the shared board. A physical board is optional but helpful for young children.
Can students outside Mumbai book online coaching? +
Yes — online coaching is available to students across India. We currently have students from Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and more. If you are outside Mumbai, online is your go-to option.
Is online coaching as effective as home coaching? +
For most students, yes — especially teens and adults. The 1-on-1 attention, real-time feedback and personalised curriculum are identical. Younger children (under 8) sometimes find physical pieces easier to engage with, so home visits may suit them better.
What is the fee for online coaching? +
Online sessions start at ₹600/60 minutes with Fardeen Ansari and go up to ₹1,200/60 minutes with Rahul Nadar. Both are fully private 1-on-1 sessions — no group classes.
